Digital Audio SuiteThis bright room with a huge end window and leafy outlook is studded with smart Apple Macintosh hardware. 23 iMac workstations with Edirol FA-66 Firewire soundcards are supplemented by 4 MacBooks, 4 iBooks and 1 Mac Pro with a Digidesign Mbox 2 and ProTools LE 7.3. In addition the suite has three legacy PCs running Cubase SX, smartboard and projector as well as various keyboards and midi controllers.

We have installed the latest music software to suit the needs of just about any composer. Logic Studio, Sibelius 5 and Max/MSP form the heart of the software suite. Nearly sixty additional applications are installed as standard, plus the Kirk Hunter Emerald and Concert String orchestral sound libraries and Apple World Music Jam Pack sounds. There are also one or two licences for other professional music applications, such as Ableton Live, Jitter and Reaktor. An unrivalled suite that can be hired for a range of music technology masterclasses such as digital audio software training, composing for film, animation and gaming, or music for the web.
