Edinburgh Ballet is a caring yet professional dance school offering weekly dance classes for pupils from the age of 2 years and upwards. Classes are held during the week at the Music Box Dance Studio, Stevenson College.
We offer a 'Creative Dance' class for our youngest pupils, where they learn basic ballet technique, dance using stories and imagination, together with the use of props and miming, to make for an interesting and fun class! From Pre-school upwards, children learn the finer details of Classical Ballet and Modern/Jazz techniques, progressing through the levels, with the opportunity to enter for RAD Graded and Vocational Ballet Examinations, and Modern/Jazz dance exams. There is the opportunity to attend regular theatre outings and all pupils are encouraged to take part in our end of year theatre performance.
