Scotland already has a deservedly great reputation for music and performing arts education. Through the Music Box we aim to address the growing demand for creative provision, both locally and Scotland wide, to support the creative industry by feeding it with talented individuals who will shape its future. Many award winning musicians have passed through our doors, entering the industry to make a career, or progressing to music academies and universities throughout the UK.
Our courses, offered at a range of abilities, are of a vocational nature, designed to develop your practical and performing skills as well as your awareness of the industry. You will have the opportunity to explore and develop your own individual styles, through working as a soloist and in a group with others. Our professional team of lecturing staff are passionate about what they do and are committed to helping you to achieve your goals. You'll find their methods are structured, encouraging and motivational.
