Stevenson College Edinburgh offers excellent tailor-made courses for groups of 10 or more students at any time of the year. Adult and Young Learner groups (aged 14+) are welcome.
International Summer School Classes
During July and August your group can be integrated with international students from all over the world to study for 2 – 7 weeks. Your group can join the following Summer School classes, English level permitting:
- General English (20 hours / week)
- Intensive English (24 hours / week), which combines General English with either English and Culture or Examination Preparation.
Please note integration into international classes is available for students aged 16+ only.
Individually Designed Short Courses
You may have a group of students with a specific interest or project focus: we can tailor-make a course just for them. What about General English and Tourism, or British Culture and History, or English and Music? The College has a wide field of expertise, and we can design a course to reflect this in terms of:
- Language requirement
- Project work
- Social programme
- Accommodation
- Travel arrangements
Individually Designed courses can be provided for groups of students aged 14 years and above.
Social Programme
Your group should make the most of this unique study experience by taking part in the social programme: visit places of interest in and around the city, such as Edinburgh Castle, Our Dynamic Earth or the Botanical Gardens; attend some of the exciting cultural and entertainment events in Edinburgh such as concerts, musical and the theatre; dance at a Ceilidh (an evening of traditional Scottish music and dance); enjoy full day trips to the fine renaissance Palace at Falkland and the seaside town of Saint Andrews, or Loch Lomond and Glasgow.
We can organise a social programme exclusively to reflect your groups' specific interests, whatever they may be.
Accommodation for Groups
As well as providing homestay opportunities for groups, we may also be able to arrange residential accommodation, depending on availability.
