Course	Description
HNC/D Accounting Apply	This course provides a good understanding of many aspects of accounting and finance and will equip candidates for employment opportunities in accounting and business. The course coverage includes aspects of financial and management accounting, business law and the development of competence in a variety of software packages. It also provides progression routes to degree level study.
HNC/D Administration & Information Technology Apply	This course will allow you to develop a high level of IT and problem-solving skills in addition to gaining a good theoretical knowledge of the Administration and Information Technology filed. Ideal for those who wish to pursue a career as Administrators, Office Supervisors/Managers of Personal Assistants. Successful completion also offers the opportunity to progress to an appropriate degree. There may also be an opportunity to go on a work placement as one of the optional credits, either in Edinburgh or Europe.
HNC/D Business Apply	This course is ideal for students looking to pursue a career in business and covers a wide range of business topics including: Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Management, Law, Computing, Communication, and Business case study. Its broad based structure allows you to progress to a wide variety of business related subjects at university.
HNC/D Tourism Apply	This course offers a range of tourism-related skills, providing opportunities to work in tourism or progress to university. Topics include: Tourism Marketing, Customer Care, Communication and Visitor Attraction Operations. The course includes a programme of excursions to tourist attractions and visiting speakers from the tourism industry.
HNC/D Retail Management Apply	This course should prepare candidates for entry to the retail industry and develop skills and understanding of the environment in which the retail sector operates in addition to developing knowledge, understanding in managing, controlling and presenting stock. The underpinning concepts of management and finance will also be covered.
