January Start Courses

For international students, SCE has an intake in January for Fast Track HNDs and English Language Programmes.

Fast Track HNDs in Accounting, Business, Computing programmes are available to start in January, allowing students to complete the course more quickly and at a reduced fee. HND year 1 is intensive as a one year course is studied in six months.

"I am now studying HND Year 2 Accounting at Stevenson College Edinburgh.  I decided to study at SCE because of the great Fast Track option, and also studying in Scotland, means I can apply for the Fresh Talent scheme.  I am enjoying the programme, its very practical and the teachers are helpful, they really make time for students.  The College also has really good facilities for international students like the library and IT suites.  When I complete the HND, I'd like to apply to university and also to work in Scotland."

"I started at SCE in January 2007.  I had been studying at another college in the UK but it wasn't what I expected.  I heard about SCE's Accounting HND starting in January and I decided to find out more.  After spending time with the staff, I knew SCE was the right choice for me, allowing me to start straight away and not having to wait until the following September.  After completing the course, I plan to take my ACCA exams for which I will have gained five exemptions thanks to studying the HND.  I also plan to go to University, and enter third year to continue studying Accounting."

English Language Programmes

There are a number of English Language Programmes with a January intake. SCE has over 25 years experience in the teaching of English as a Foreign Language. There are courses available for beginners to more advanced levels. Our entry requirements for January start courses are the same as full year courses.
