This new qualification is designed for instrumentalists or singers who would like to pursue a career in music or gain access to university. You will have the opportunity to perform in a wide range of ensembles. Entry to the course requires the ability to play at least one instrument to ABRSM Grade 7 and an audtion (preferably by video). The HND Classical Music can lead to the second or third year entry to university degrees such as:
Year 3 BMus Music at Napier University
Year 2 BMus Music at the University of Edinburgh
You may also progress to the final year of music degrees at several universities in England such as those in Newcastle, Leeds, London and Manchester.
