This new course is designed to provide students with the underpinning theoretical knowledge and practical coaching skills to pursue a career or further study in sports coaching. You will complete both theoretical (50%) and practical (50%) work on this course.

Course Assessment
In the HNC year, you must complete a practical project in which you must develop and implement a sports programme. There is also a practical and theoretical assignment in the second year, designed to enable you to coach sport to a client group at an advanced level.
