This course allows you to develop an in-depth understanding of both the theoretical and practical issues relating to fitness, health and exercise. The aim is to provide the skills and knowledge required to work as a fitness instructor, gym supervisor or to move onto university study. You should have an active interest in sports for this course as well as good written English skills.

Course Assessment
In addition to successul completion of course units, you will have to complete two written research based projects, one in first year and the other in second year. This is usually related to current issues in the sports and leisure industry.

Year 3 BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science at Napier University
Year 2 / 3 BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching and Development at the University of Abertay, Dundee
