SCE Welcomes Groups of Students and Teachers
As well as the numerous courses for individual students, SCE extends a warm welcome to groups of students.
We can develop a tailor-made programme to suits your group's needs be this academically or culturally. Your programme can also include a social programme , accommodation , airport pickup and local travel arrangements.
Previously we have had student groups from France, Spain, Italy and Taiwan.
SCE can also offer a number of English Language Teacher Development Programmes for teachers, both in Edinburgh and in your home country.
SCE has a team of expert English Language teachers with over 20 years of experience in teaching English to a number of countries. SCE is one of the largest of Scotland's colleges and with the mix of cultures, nationalities and subjects it is an exciting and stimulating place to study.
Teachers can choose from a number of courses depending on their own experience and career aspirations. These courses can be designed to accommodate a group of teachers and can include accommodation and a social programme .
TKT, ICELT and CELTA are all awarded by the world famous University of Cambridge and SCE is an authorised centre for Teaching Awards.

"I have been teaching English to Higher School student in Jiangsu Province, China for 15 years. The Education Ministry arranged for this group of experienced teachers to attend the ICELT course at Stevenson.
The course is very useful as we have the opportunity to see classes and teaching styles here are so different from China. The social programme is also helpful and allows us to experience the country and culture. As English teachers it is so important to learn about the food and the music and the country, not just what happens in school. I am sure when I go home to China I will be able to apply everything new that I have learned in Edinburgh."
