Stevenson College Edinburgh welcomes over 1000 international students every year from countries all over the world.  Students from Turkey who have finished their Lise Diplomasi usually have to complete a foundation programme for entry into a UK university.  Therefore, the general foundation programmes at SCE are very popular amongst Turkish students since they can lead to any UK university.

Stevenson also welcomes individual students or groups from Turkey onto our Summer School Programme.

How do I travel from Turkey to Edinburgh?

It is easy to travel to Edinburgh from Turkey. You can flight from Istanbul via many International hubs, for example Amsterdam (KLM) or Manchester (Turkish Airlines) and onto Edinburgh in approximately one hour. A free airport pick up service is available.

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements may vary according to course, however for most courses you will have to have completed your Lise Diplomasi in related subjects. The International Centre will be able to advise you on the exact entry requirements for each subject. You will normally also have to submit an IELTS score of 5.5 for entry to all courses.

HNC/D ProgrammesVaries depending on subject, however most applicants must complete a Foundation programme before commencing HNC/D Programmes. IELTS score of at least 5.5 / TOEFL  / PTE or international equivalent.
English Language ProgrammesVarious programmes for all levels of English. We assess your level of English upon arrival.
