Hello, I am Sasindan, and I am originally from Chilaw, Sri Lanka, so as you can expect coming to Scotland was a bit of a culture shock for me.
Everything is different here, especially the weather, but I am so happy here in Edinburgh.
I have been here for 7 years and really enjoy being a student at Stevenson College Edinburgh. The College is well known for the teaching of English, and I have learnt so much in my time here.
I have many friends, and the Edinburgh people are really friendly!
It is a great place to live!
How do I travel from Sri Lanka to Edinburgh?
It is easy to travel to Edinburgh from Sri Lanka. You can fly via many international hubs, for example Amsterdam (KLM) or London (British Airways, BMI) and onto Edinburgh in approximately one hour. An airport pick up service is available when you arrive.
