How to Apply

added: 11:31, 03-04-09There are 5 easy steps to follow when applying for a course at SCE: 

Step 1

Complete the International Student Application Form (PDF document, 95KB). You will need to attach copies of your supporting documents which should include your educational certificates and English Language Test (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or equivalent) results and completed personal statement.   

If you are applying for the Summer School, please apply using the Summer School Application Form (PDF document, 50KB). 

The College requires IELTS (or TOEFL, PTE or equivalent) as proof of English language level for all courses.

A conditional offer may be made to applicants who have still to take the an English language test. Please indicate on the application form the date when you are to take your test, to allow us to ensure your unconditional offer letter can be ready in time for making your visa application.

Step 2

Send the application form and supporting documents as detailed above to:

You can also save time by scanning and emailing your application and supporting documents. You can email these directly to the International Centre.

Step 3

If you are accepted onto the course you will be sent a conditional offer letter.  Return the course acceptance form and the requested deposit to secure your place.

Step 4

You will be sent a receipt for your deposit, and CAS number for applying for your visa.  You will also be sent information on accommodation, including an Accommodation Application Form (PDF Document, 68KB). You should now apply for your visa to study in the UK.  You can find out more at UK Border Agency or UKCISA

Step 5

Arrival and enrolment and SCE.  You will be expected to pay the remainder of your fees at this point.
