Post Study Work

Post Study Work provides international students with the opportunity to extend their visa for two years to work in Scotland or the UK, following successful completion of their HND programme. 

Students in a classroom for Fresh Talent Day in CollegeThroughout the year the International Centre  run a series of events to provide information to SCE students on the opportunities offered through Post Study work.  Please contact the International Centre for further information.

For students who are looking for full time work there are a number of resources at Scotland is the Place .

This includes:
• information about moving to Scotland including Post Study Work visas, health and accommodation.
• websites, agencies, job centres and careers advice centres to assist students who are looking for employment.

The application process for full time work is largely the same as part time work although many employers may look for you to have some experience or studies within the area that you are applying for.

Please note that immigration rules do change and that the College can not guarantee that Post Study Work will continue to be in place when students complete their course.
