Self Access Centre

Man wearing headphones If you are a student in the Faculty of Languages & Tourism, then the Language Self-Access Centre is a great place to study. Situated on the fourth floor in room 411, the centre holds around 1000 reference books, course books, reading books, sound cassettes and films in English and other languages.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, there are materials to help and there is always a member of staff on hand to assist as well.

In the centre you can:

listen to cassettes
watch videos and Satellite TV
access the internet and send emails
word process assignments
work with user-friendly language software at different levels for English, Italian, Spanish, French and German.

You can also book the computers for self-directed study.
