Your Course Finder
Articulation means progression from one course to another and is usually used when referring to progression routes from a college to a university.
Some articulation routes are formal where progression from a specific HNC/HND course at college to a specific degree course at a university has been agreed.
There are also many informal articulation routes that can give entry to an appropriate year of a degree course at university. However, guaranteed admission to a degree course and the year of entry is based on the merit of each individual and is at the discretion of the university, no matter what the articulation route.
Make The Right Choices
The breadth and depth of study of our Access and HNC/HND programmes are such that students can generally articulate into the appropriate year of their chosen Degree course.
Stevenson College Edinburgh has excellent relationships with a number of Universities and we have various articulation agreements in place.
We can advise you so that you make the right choices in your study and we will make it clear what you need to achieve to gain entry to the University of your choice and which year of the appropriate Degree course you can articulate in to.
