SVQs are awards that recognise a person’s ability to do his or her own job. They are awarded following evidence that your work-based activities meet ‘National Occupational Standards’. SVQs are available across five levels, which reflect differing aspects from basic work activities to senior managerial skills. Students find SVQs enhance their job prospects.
