Course Overview
APPLY NOWThe HNC in Health Care is intended for students wishing to pursue a career in Health e.g. Nursing, Physiotherapy Occupational Therapy and others. A significant part of the course is taken up with placement in a healthcare setting which allows students the opportunity to blend theory with practice. Subjects studied include: Physiology for Healthcare, Health Policy and Principles of Healthcare Practice.
Entry Requirements
5 Standard Grades at Level 3 or above, plus Intermediate 2 Biology and English plus at least one Higher. Students without formal entry qualifications need to demonstrate an ability to manage the academic demands of the course.
What can I do Next?
Diploma in Nursing or a range of professions allied to medicine e.g. Podiatry, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. Please check with your university of choice that the HNC is a suitable route to your degree.
