Course Overview
APPLY NOWThe HNC allows you to develop an in-depth understanding of both the theoretical and practical issues relating to Fitness, Health and Exercise. The aim is to provide the skills and knowledge required to work as Fitness Instructors, Gym Supervisors or progress to Higher Education.
The HND builds on the knowledge and experience gained on the HNC programme.Year 2 subjects cover wider issues central to the fitness industry and enable you to develop your research skills.
In addition to the core and optional units available, students have the opportunity to gain an SVQ Level 2 in Exercise to Music or Gym Instructor and work placement in the leisure industry.
Entry Requirements
2 Highers at C or above or an appropriate National Qualification. Mature students with a sufficient educational background and practical experience will be considered on an individual basis.
What can I do Next?
Seek employment, progress from the HNC to the HND or from HND to year 3 at university.

£1,285 - UK/EU students if not eligible for funding.
