The aim of this HNC is to provide a solid foundation and practical skills in advanced Microsoft Client and Server operating systems, using the latest software, within an academic course to make you suitably qualified and ready for the work place. This challenging course provides tuition in preparation for Microsoft Certifications (MCP/MCSA/ MCITP) and CompTIA Certifications (A+, Net+). The A+ Hardware Technicians course covers the building and operation of PCs. Options such as Server+ or Security+ may be available.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, 4 Standard Grades at Grade 3 or above and IT skills or 12 SQA National units with a computer bias (including Communications and Maths). Mature students with relevant experience will also be considered.
