This course provides a good understanding of many aspects of accounting and finance and will equip candidates for employment opportunities in accounting and business. The course coverage includes aspects of financial and management accounting, business law and the development of competence in a variety of software packages. It also provides progression routes to degree level study.
Entry Requirements
2 Higher passes and 3 Standard Grades at grade 3 or above including English and Mathematics or NQ Business Intermediate 2 or equivalent.
Mature students with relevant experience or other qualifications may also be considered.
You may also be asked to submit a piece of written work which should show competence at SCQF level 7.

What can I do Next?
Progress to the HND Accounting course or to the 1st or 2nd year of a degree programme. Alternatively study towards professional accounting exams or find employment.
