This is an innovative entry-level course that offers the opportunity to build your skills across a range of disciplines. You will be working on a series of projects from Radio Programmes to Video Shoots, all of which will give you the confidence to develop your creative ideas and understanding of technical equipment.

This course is very hands on and you will be working in groups. This gives you the chance to fill a variety of roles, reflecting on what happens in the industry.

Days can vary from scriptwriting/filming to designing a 2D digital animation. Your new found skills will give you a solid foundation from which you can progress to further study.

Entry Requirements

You need 2 Standard Grades, preferably at Level 3 or above.

What can I do Next?

Successful students may progress to NQ Television & Broadcast (Fast-track), NQ Television & Broadcast Production or NQ Media Technology.
