This unique one-year programme is designed to prepare you for progression to degree level study in film, television or related areas. You will study aspects of video production - sound, lighting and editing; as well as photography and film theory. These elements combine to develop your practical, analytical and creative skills.

The course consists of both SQA Units and an Edexcel A-level. The A-level requires you to complete four individual projects, for each one you will create an artefact which could be video, photography or a combination of media. In addition you will submit a 'workbook' which records the development of each project and an evaluation of the finished piece.

Course work projects can be included in your portfolio.
