The Social Care section at Stevenson College Edinburgh works with a range of employers in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

We deliver training for staff on a day release and evening basis from introductory to advanced levels.

 

We offer the following training for your employees:

  • Foundation Level courses 2 and 3 which provide staff with underpinning knowledge for SVQs
  • Foundation course for Residential Childcare
  • HNC in Social Care
  • Professional Development Award
  • Leadership Training
  • Supervision Training

 

We also provide bespoke training delivered on site or at the College. Previous work has included:

  • Whole staff training in values and practice
  • Subject specific training relating to autism, dementia and mental health
  • Training for home help workers

If you would like us to develop training for your organisation we will work closely with you to design and deliver a course to your specification.
