Caring for Scotland's Future
Social Care is all about working with and supporting people. Social Care staff work across a range of services and may work with children, adults or older people. Support and help is carried out in a range of settings including people's own homes, in community centres and day centres, as well as in residential homes.
A wide range of Social Care courses
Here at Stevenson College Edinburgh we offer a range of courses to prepare you for a career in social care. If you are just starting out in further education and have no experience to draw on then our Intermediate and National Certificate courses might be for you. If you have some qualifications like Highers and have relevant experience to draw on then the HNC in Social Care might be for you. Or you may already have qualifications in social care or social work and you are looking to develop your skills in management or practice, in which case the Short Course programme or Professional Development Award might be for you.

Whatever your current situation, social care and social work are an important and growing sector of the economy where there are many opportunities for career development and progression. Stevenson is the place to get the qualifications you will need.
