This section is for anyone who would like to develop basic qualifications for returning to work or accessing further study at College.
At Stevenson, we are proud of our successful track record in helping people back into work and education. Thinking about returning to work after a long break – or returning to education if you haven’t studied since school - can be a daunting prospect.
And if you don’t currently hold qualifications you may think you’re options are limited. At Stevenson however, our courses cover a range of levels and subject areas. We are here to provide you with the support and advice you need to make decisions and to help you through your studies while you are here.
You may be surprised to hear that our largest age group of students is the 25-34 year old category and we have as many 35 to 44 year olds as we do 16 to 18 year olds. College isn’t just for schools leavers. We have a selection of courses to meet a varied range of needs and as an adult returner you won’t feel out of place.
You may also be surprised to hear that our class sizes range from 12 to 16 students, meaning that each student gets the attention and support they need to complete their studies. 57% of our students are part-time, so if you have family commitments or responsibilities that won’t allow you to study full-time then you’re not alone. However, if you would like to study full-time then we can help you arrange childcare.
