Stevenson runs a number of vocational programmes, usually in conjunction with employers, such as Modern Apprenticeships (MA) and Get Ready for WORK (GRfW).
Modern Apprenticeships
Further information can be found at the Scottish Modern Apprenticeships website. You need to be employed to participate in a Modern Apprenticeship scheme in an industry of your choice. We currently run MA programmes in:
- Motor Vehicle - Heavy Vehicle Maintenance; Light Vehicle Mechanical; Light Vehicle Body; and, Vehicle Refinishing
- Accounting
GRfW
Get Ready for WORK is a programme aimed at progressing young people into work and is recruited through referral by Careers Scotland. There are four possible strands of the programme:
- Lifeskills
- Core skills
- Personal skills
- Vocational skills
Each strand is designed to build the confidence and skills needed for work.
