The Study Skills Centre can help you with your course work. We know everyone is different, and so we provide help on an individual basis. You can use this service as you need it - some people come very regularly, while others just come in connection with one piece of work.
These are just some of the areas we can assist you in developing your skills:
- planning and writing assignments
- improving spelling and grammar
- preparing for exams
- organising study time.
It is useful if you can bring along the piece of the course work you want to discuss.
If you have dyslexic type difficulties, you could benefit from some of the specialised software and other assistance available.
The Study Skills Centre is open at regular times throughout the week, and the times are displayed outside the door. The Study Skills Centre is located in room 219, next to the Library. Contact the Student Advice Centre for more information and to make an appointment at a time that suits you.
