Stevenson College Edinburgh welcomes learners from all backgrounds and levels of ability and ensures that every student feels valued as a member of the college community. Nearly two-thirds of our students study part-time although we have over 3,000 students who study on a full-time basis.
College staff are strongly committed to equality and diversity and take great pride in promoting achievement and attainment across all aspects of college activity. The College provides a range of activities outwith study time including access to sporting facilities , music and creative arts as part of the student experience. Throughout the College you will experience students from a range of backgrounds and out international activity ensures a variety of countries are represented as part of the student mix.
The programmes we offer and continuously under review to ensure their relevance in the educational and employment market place and this year will be no different. May of our students go onto further study or into employment and it is important that the College offers relevant programmes to ensure this. As part of our changing portfolio, we now offer degree based provision in photography and music performance. Throughout 2010/11 the College has proved particularly popular with returning adults and young people seeking new opportunities. The College is undoubtedly seen as being a key provider of education and training and demonstrates huge strengths in partnership with schools, universities, employers and other key stakeholders.
