Penumbra promtes mental health wll being for all and provides a wide range of services which offer hope and practical steps towards recovery. |

The Stafford Centre is a drop in centre for local individuals who have mental health issues, and provides support, group workand an employability service. |
Drug and Alcohol Services

Alcoholics Anonymous |
Alcoholics Anonymous offers support and guidance for individuals who have alcohol issues in 43 venues across Edinburgh. |

Bethany Christian Centre |
Bethany Christian Centre is a residential centre for individuals who have drug/alcohol issues and offers a dry house with up to 6 month stay. Referrals can be made with an organisation worker. |

CARS (Turning Point) |
CARS (Community Addiction Recovery Service) offers information to individuals with drug/alcohol misuse issues and a structured recovery programme. Referrals are welcome by telephone, organisations or self. |
|
Castle Project |
The Castle Project offers support for people with drug/alcohol issues. It has a 'drop-in' centre, a locality clinic and is active across the city. Referrals are accepted by telephone, drop-in or self referrals. |

CDPS (Harm Reduction Team) |
The Spittal Street Centre offers advice for drug misuse, a needle exchange and methadone programme. Referrals can be made by telephone or drop in. |
|
CHAI |
CHAI (Community Help and Advice Initiative) are based in south west Edinburgh and offer support for drug/alcohol misuse, aneedle exchange and complimentary therapies. Referrals can be made online or by telephone. |
|
Circle (Harbour Project) |
Circle supports individuals with drug/alcohol issues who have children. Referrals can be varied from self-referrals to telephone. |

Crew 2000 |
Crew 2000 offers support for individuals with drug misuse issues, complimentary therapies, support, counselling, recovery. Referrals can be self telephone or organisation worker. |

Drug Referral Team |
Edinburgh Council Social Care Drug Referral team are working with individuals who have drug or substance misuse issues. Referrals are accepted by an organisation worker. |

Edinburgh Access Practice |
Edinburgh Access Practice offers advice on substance misuse, offering surgeries, dental health and clothes exchange. Also based in the Cowgate, Edinburgh. |

ELCA (Edinburgh and Lothian Council on Alcohol Counselling) offer Information and support to individuals who have alcohol issues. |

Homeless Outreach Project offers advice, support, advocacy and outreach streetwork. |

NEDAC |
NEDAC (North Edinburgh Drug and Alcohol Centre) offer immediate access to information, crisis intervention, advice and support. |

The Access Point offers a holistic housing, health and social care service to people experiencing homelessness. |

Bethany House Hostel |
Bethany Christian Trust supports 4,000 homeless and vulnerable people every year in Scotland to find, equip and maintain a home within their local community. Referrals can be made by contactingBethany directly. |

Castlecliff |
Castlecliff accepts self-referrals and referrals from any agency for single people and couples with support needs aged 16 and over, including rough sleepers. Can accept people with pets. Priority to those with a connection to Edinburgh. |

Cranston Street Hostel |
Cranston Street Hostel welcomes self referrals and referrals by phone from any agency for single homeless women with a local connection to Edinburgh. |
|
Cunningham House Hostel |
Cunningham House is a short-stay, supported hostel for homeless people in Edinburgh. Cunningham House is a dry house; no alcohol or drugs are permitted on the premises. Referrals by council or self-referrals are welcome depending on issues with drugs, alcohol and offending. |

Cyrenians |
Cyrenians offer help with bills/budgeting, arrears, problem landlords, partners, family and neighbours, drug/alcohol and isolation. |
|
Dunedin Harbour |
Dunedin Harbour is a direct access hostel located in Leith, providing accommodation and support for vulnerable individuals and couples who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Self or agency referrals welcome. |
|
Lauriston Place Hostel |
Lauriston Place Hostel provides homeless accommodation for women in Edinburgh. Referrals are welcome by telephone. |
|
Oxgangs Hostel |
Oxgangs Hostel provides support for Individuals with a lack of employment experience who have issues relating to drug, alcohol and mental health. |
|
St John's Hill |
St John’s Hill provides supported accommodation for men and women aged 16 and over. Their objective is to enable service users to prepare for and sustain independent living. Referral are welcome by phone. |
|
Stopover Project |
Stopover provides emergency accommodation with support for young people aged between 16 and 21 who are homeless or at risk. |
