WEACT have key links with employers and can act as a free service to help link job seekers with real opportunities in the market place as part of the Joined Up For Jobs partnership.

 WEACT is an employability organisation in Edinburgh with over 10 years experience of successfully placing individuals into employment.  Our purpose is to work with employers to identify vacancies and support unemployed clients to secure employment.  Our success is based on providing a service that meets the needs of the individual while taking on board the needs of the local labour market.

WEACT for employers runs employability training programmes to provide participants with the skills to compete in the labour market.  We can run a specific programme designed for and with your organisation to help meet you recruitment needs. This service is free to employers.

WEACT for Employers can:

  • Advertise vacancies

  • Source suitable candidates 

  • Job match candidates with vacancies

  • Provide demand-led training programmes where multiple vacancies are identified

  • Customised in-work support for new employees

  • Provide information on financial incentives.
