Just Do It

WEACT run a 'Just Do It' campaign for 16 to 24 year olds. This is a five to six week programme to help young people:

  • Get started on a career path/college course 

  • Gain skills and confidence to handle new situations 

  • Find out what employers are looking for 

  • Learn how to job search and be confident in interviews 

  • Gain a Youth Achievement Award 

  • Team Building 

  • Have fun!



Youth Achievement Awards

As a young person, you can also take part in the Youth Achievement Awards. The Awards are an activity-based approach to peer education which encourage young people to progressively take more responsibility in selecting, planning and leading activities that are based on their interests.  

The Awards offer significant opportunities for young people to develop the four Curriculum for Excellence capacities: successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens.  

They recognise your contributions and achievements in a variety of settings including youth work, volunteering, active citizenship, and formal education.
