Going to College
Going to college can be a great way to develop your skills and knowledge in an area in which you are interested. Colleges offer a range of courses across many different subjects. You will meet like minded people and college can be a rewarding and positive experience.
WEACT offer you guidance and support on choosing and applying for a course that suits you. Although we are part of Stevenson College Edinburgh we will give you impartial advice based on what is best for you. On the right are links to the main colleges in Edinburgh.
Just Do It
'Just Do It' is our five to six week course which will help you learn what employers are looking for with a focus on improving time-keeping, reliability, self confidence, attitude, job searching skills and how to stay motivated. You can also complete a Youth Achievement Award qualification. Find out more here.
Apprenticeship
If you’ve got a good idea of where you want to go with your career and like the idea of earning while you learn, an Apprenticeship could be for you. You’ll get top quality training, developing skills and gaining qualifications on the job. Find out more about how WEACT can help here.
