WEACT works with partners across Edinburgh to ensure clients are signposted to the right destination and offered the most up-to-date information.
We understand that in order to effectively support our clients we need to establish and nurture our relationships with other services and organisations across the city.
WEACT are part of the Joined Up For Jobs partnership and have links with several community based services across Edinburgh. As a key member of Gate 55 WEACT are an integral part of the community and employability services.
As a member of this partnership we have access to key support networks, employer liaison, information and training services.
We work closely with Working for Families to help support our clients who are single parents and require assistance with childcare and other barriers to employment.
The Edinburgh Volunteer Centre is another key partner that WEACT work closely with in order to provide a full service and positive opportunities for our clients.
We also work with a range of other partners including Access to Industry, Women onto Work, Edinburgh City Council – Community Education and Economic Development, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, Skills Development Scotland, Jewel and Esk College, Dunedin Canmore Housing Association and Prospect Housing.

How to refer Clients to us
If you would like to refer a client to us we will need the person’s name, contact telephone number and postcode. There are a few ways you can get this information to us:

Write to us at Gate 55, 55 Sighthill Road, Edinburgh, EH11 4PB.
We will endeavour to call or contact the client within 1-2 weeks. If the client is not contactable after three attempts then we will be unable to follow-up the referral and you may want to pass our details on to your client.
