This section of the website provides students, staff and visitors to the College with information for on the various IT services available at Stevenson College Edinburgh. Our Computer Services Unit (CSU) supports learning, teaching and administration with a wide variety of communications and information technologies.
Wireless Access
Stevenson College Edinburgh uses an award winning wireless network solution to provide industry standard IEEE 802.11 (WiFi) technology. There are over 40 wireless "hotspots" around the campus, with new ones being added every week. The wireless network provides convenient, secure access to the internet and the College network for staff, students and visitors.
Janet Roaming
Stevenson College Edinburgh participates in the JANET Roaming Service, which itself is part of the Eduroam (EDUcation ROAMing) infrastructure used by the international research and education community.
Being part of Eduroam allows users to access a wireless network at other participating institutions simply using the same credentials the users would use if they were at their home institution.
