Equality and Diversity for Students

At Stevenson College Edinburgh we welcome students from all ages, backgrounds and abilities including refugees and asylum seekers.

Our aim is to break down any barriers you may encounter during your time at College.

You can find out about equality and diversity at Stevenson College Edinburgh on this page including where you can find useful information, resources and links to relevant websites.

You can open or download our Student Support Survival Guide from the Document Downloads section on the right of this page, which has all sorts of useful information for you.

Advice for Students with Disabilities

We offer a support and advice service where you can talk to us in confidence about:

  • any issue affecting your study
  • personal problems
  • visual/auditory impairment
  • health/disability concerns
  • special exam arrangements
  • equipment loan
  • support for dyslexia

Please contact Katherine Buckle or Jennifer Moreland for more information.

Bullying and Harassment

Unfair treatment is totally unacceptable and the College takes the matter very seriously.  If you are unhappy about how you are treated, please refer to our Bullying and Harassment Policy in the document downloads section to the right hand side of this page. You can also speak to your tutor, the Student Association or the Equality and Diversity Adviser.

Your Rights and Responsibilities
