We have various groups of staff and students working together to promote equality and diversity.
LGBT Group
One of the Group's initiatives is a Buddy Scheme which is now in its third year and provides students with a mentor to support them whilst at the College. Student volunteers are trained as Buddies to ensure they are well informed to support LGBT students. Race Equality Working Group
The Race Equality Working Group aims to ensure that race equality is well communicated across staff/students and stakeholder groups by working with all key College areas to ensure this happens both inside and outside the classroom.
