Confidential counselling service for staff
Timefortalking is a free confidential counselling and support service and is available to all members of staff. To access the service please call our help-line on 0800 970 3980.
All help-line calls are free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year. Leaflets are available in the Faculty Offices and from HR.
Dealing with incidents of harassment of bullying involving members of staff and students
The Guidelines for Dealing with Unfair Treatment document on the right hand side of this page explains the procedures for dealing with incidents of bullying or harassment. For more information contact Anne Munnoch, Equality Officer.
Quality Equality and Diversity in teaching materials
The College has developed guidelines to use when developing new materials to ensure they meet equality and diversity standards. An audit tool is also available to help teaching staff ensure that materials are accessible to the diverse range of students at the College. Extra support for staff regarding reasonable adjustments
Staff should contact Human Resources if they require any adjustments or support in order to enable them to do their job. The most common types are:
- Work station adjustments
- Changing hours, days of work
- Providing specialist equipment
